Yup, I’m one of those people out there with a Twin. We tend to get a lot of questions being a twin, so here you have it- a list of the FAQ!

1. Are you guys identical?
Nope, we’re not identical twins… we just happen to be born around the same time XD
Ok, I don’t really know anymore! I always thought we were fraternal… but a doctor confused me one day when he said “You’re obviously identical”. Now.. I don’t know if he just claims that (without documentation) or if it officially said so..somewhere. O_o Uh-Oh! Identity crisis? XD

2. How come one wears glasses and one doesn’t?
Um.. actually, we both wear glasses, it’s just that I don’t wear mine often.

3. Can you guys sense what the other one is feeling?
err..nope. We’re not psychic.

4. Have you guys ever switched classes for fun?
haha.. I’ve actually considered that before, but never actually done it since I don’t think we look alike…lol (probabaly get busted XD)

5. Who’s older?
Not I.. xD

6. You guys look exactly the same!
err… not really?

7. Woah, you’re twins? You look like friends.
o.o Okay..we don’t look THAT different XD

8. Do you guys fight?
Sometimes =p

9. How many minutes are you two apart?
5 minutes

10. I heard with twins, one is more boyish and one is more girlish.. so which one is which?
Um… if I had to categorize, I’d say I’m slightly more boyish- though, that sounds pretty misleading!

11. Do you like the same stuff?
We have very similar tastes for some things, and totally different tastes for others. Colours for example: I like bright andvibrant colours like yellow and pink whereas she likes dark colours like purple and black. I like Aeris, whereas she likes Tifa (from FFVII). On the other hand, we both love Tamahome and dislike Miaka (from Fushigi Yuugi)..haha, and the list goes on.

12. They say twins normally end up marrying other twins.
err..that would be kinda creepy. Sounds fake to me!

13. Do you like being twins? I wanna be a twin!
I suppose it’s pretty cool, it makes me feel special..lol (even though I’m considered the youngest in the family by a tiny bit, damn!) No, the truth is, I like being the youngest.

14. Any weird things happen being a twin?
Ah yesh, occasionally we say the same thing at exactly the same time, with the same response/reaction..lol. Sometimes one asks a question, and the other is thinking the same thing, but doesn’t hear them ask, and then ask the same person the question which was just asked by the other twin (did that make sense?)

Another time, my sis and I were heading to Uni and I went to buy myself a train ticket, and she went to the nearby grocery store to buy some snacks. We separated for an extremely short time but guess what? Both of us lost 20 cents within that time! I realised the person gave me the wrong change, charging me 20 cents more (but too late)- and my sis dropped 20cents while trying to take out money from her wallet @_@ The coin disappeared.

15. Any other interesting facts?
I had short hair, and my twin had long hair… once I was trying on a wig at a shop for fun, and after putting on a long wig, I saw my sister in the mirror ^^; That’s freaky, even for me.

16. Is there a way to tell which twin is older generally?
In most cases, the younger one is slightly taller and more mature ^^;; That is of course, a general statement and doesn’t apply to all cases. You just need to know the person more, and just go with your gut instincts as to who’s older.
