Dear Chibi,

Last night at 8pm, Jacky and I went to see WICKED- The Broadway Musical at the Capitol Theatre :) It was the first time I’ve ever seen a live musical, and going inside Capitol Theatre. It was quite an amazing experience O_O! I was just mesmerized by all the shiny glitter and lights.. the atmosphere was quite something.  We felt under-dressed though, hahah! We had no idea it was such a dressy occasion but I guess that made it more special. (And now we know.. for next time..xD)

We end up getting pretty good seats and thanks to Kaz it was discounted too, yay~Too bad she couldn’t see it with us.

Elphaba & Galinda

We’ve never seen The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, so didn’t have any idea what to expect story-wise (I didn’t watch any trailers either).  All I knew was that there’s a Tin-man, scarecrow and a girl…and they journey together… yeah.. XD Fortunately, watching this musical wasn’t confusing at all, though there were many references I’m sure fans would have enjoyed :) Today I started reading up on The Wizard of Oz and thought the links were fascinating! I really enjoyed watching the performance, it was humorous and entertaining. I thought the most impressive part was the singing, particularly Jemma Rix who played Elphaba..she’s INCREDIBLE!!! I know they’re pros.. but still, how can she sing so well..so flawlessly, act, remember her lines, dance at the same time? Galinda was pretty funny, and although she had a vain and irritating personality, she really grew on me.

There were some parts that were slightly creepy – I don’t like witches very much….green faces in dark capes don’t go well with me, lol. Good thing I didn’t get nightmares ^_^

It finished around 11pm so by then we were both really sleepy and tired. Worth watching though :D

Yesterday after work we had dinner with our High School girls @Baia San Marco, Cockle Bay Wharf. It was so much fun seeing them all & catching up with gossip XD XD

Dear Chibi,

owww….I don’t remember being this sore before. My whole body feels so tight that I can barely move, lol XD I always knew I was unfit and I guess this is what I get for not being active enough. It’s nothing to be ashamed of XD

Yesterday was Burpy’s 23rd birthday and we organised a tennis and basketball day for him to celebrate. I haven’t played any sport in a really really long time, and I didn’t want to be out there under the sun in 30 degrees mid-day. After much contemplating, I realised I would be pretty bored if I went and did nothing. If I’m not playing sport now at this age, does this mean I would never play ever again..? That just sounds so wacky! So yes, I end up going with the mentality I was going to play and have fun- which of course I did and I’m glad ^_^ It can feel pretty good especially when I get the ball over the net or shoot in the ring, yaaaayy noob pride :D

The guys were actually nice this time and passed the ball to me. No one usually bothers passing the ball, as they’re  pretty competitive and aggressive. Thanks XD.

After playing in Artarmon from 1pm to 7pm, we went to Chatswood for dinner where Burpy treated us to Korean :D I’m not a fan of Koren food much but the meal was good and I thoroughly enjoyed it ^^ We had a bit of strawberry white chocolate cake too since the cow cheese was left in the car, yum. lol

Hope Burpy had an amazing time, I know I did.

Happy Chinese New Year & Valentine’s Day!

It’s quite unusual for Chinese New Year to land on the 14th February- so I better jot it down for future reference, hehe. Wonder if it will happen again?

Today Jacky had a taste of the white chocolate truffle I made specially for him ^^ I can’t cook so making this was a real personal achievement XD It’s a very simple treat but I was really happy how it turned out and had so much fun making it :3 I must admit though, seeing him eat it completely made my day~ yaaaaaaay =DD♥

Dear Chibi,

Look what I found :D A teddddddddddyyyy! I  was really really excited when I got this. I have always wanted a teddy bear, especially of this size, shape and color ^-^ It may sound pretty odd but I’ve never owned a teddy bear. I remember 2 years ago when searching for a card, I saw a teddy very similar to this one, but heaps smaller holding a heart. I picked it up and thought it was just the cutest thing. At that time, I thought about buying it, but what’s the point buying yourself a teddy bear- especially one that says “I love You”. XD So I put it back and thought ‘If only Jacky could read my mind and knew I wanted this without me saying so. err.. that ain’t happening” lol. And…that was that. I never told him I wanted something as simple as a bear… but omg! I got one this year! yay :D He read my mind! (though more likely it was a random fluke but that doesn’t sound as romantic hahahahaa) ^^

♥ Happy Valentines Day!!

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday Ray invited us over to his current place to have a Moving Home Party :D Most of the Uni guys didn’t end up coming except for me, Jacky and Burpy but that was cool xD What I found particularly amusing was that Burpy had not realised we were still at Ray’s old place (which we’ve been to previously).  He was joking about never coming here again, and when I agreed, he was so shocked. XD hahahaa..how can someone NOT know the location is exactly the same? Somehow he thought Ray simply arranged the new place to look like the old. FAIL. ahahahhahaaa.. Good thing he doesn’t read this blog ;)

We had pizza, lasagna, salad and lots of junk food for lunch followed by poker with his High School friends. We end up played for several hours since well, the game was a bit messed up, haha! Everyone started off with waaaayyyy too many $500 chips..and the big blind was $20.. great lol. In the end, no matter how many chips we started off with, Ray was ultimately the big winner!!! Good one Ray, you were super lucky that day, and since you’re moving places who else would be better to have that luck on their side, hm? ;)

At about 6pm, Ray was wrapping up to go to a birthday party, so we asked Burpy if he would invite us over to his place. To our surprise.. he said yes!! :D :D yaaaaaayy.. None of us has ever been there before so we felt special being the first XD I have always wondered what his place would be like, and Jacky was jokingly saying it’s probably like Pandora.

Dear Chibi,

Today marks the 33rd month being with Jacky, which means it’s only 3 more months til our 3 Year Anniversary :3 We went to have dinner at Takeru, to find that our bill end up being $33.30. How mad is that? hehee ^-^

Dear Chibi,

Today Jacky and I along with Mum and Dad went to the Blue Mountains for the day. I haven’t been there since Primary School, and that was the only time I’ve ever been there.  I do have some memories of it though from pictures. See, pictures are the best. XD I also vaguely remember sitting in the car heading there and puking, lol. It’s only a 1.5hrs drive, so geez I must suck, haha! That time we went with Henry’s family along with Eddie..and in the car I was sitting in the middle with both Kaz and Eddie leaning on me- how was I suppose to move, aye? lol. I also recall walking in some cave, but I never knew that was Jenolan Caves until today. It would have been nice to check that out too- but yeh, got tired and eheeh…

I wonder if I can dig up a photo to share? *goes off to look through old photo albums*
