Yesterday our family went on a little day trip up north to visit the ‘Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park’ in Calga. We grabbed a deal at Groupon so entry tickets were only $9.25 for an adult as oppose to $25. One of our distant cousins from overseas is staying here with us in Sydney, so this visit was more for him but we also enjoyed it ourselves.
For me, the highlight of the day was seeing the little joey sitting inside its mother’s pouch >v< It’s suuuuper adorable! Oh, and the Koala too. The Koala is so precious :3
Whilst there was a nice range of animals to see, it was a bit lacking in the quantity department. The animals looked kinda lonely being the only one in the cages half the time. The area was also quite small so we saw everything rather quickly. We also went on a bush walking trail, but it wasn’t very long or challenging. The lookout was…okay. XDDD. I expected a nice view of the bush, except we saw the highway ^^”
Overall, I think it was a nice relaxing day :D We don’t really do much as a family anymore.
Well, enough of the talking. Let’s check out some photos shall we? ;)
Can you spot it? :D
AWWW. Is this seriously not the cutest thing you’ve seen? :3
Hi there, Mr Turtle.
Yes, that’s the same animal. It is a turtle…right??
Picnic lunch area in the park :> We had frequent visits from the local Emus.
