Dear Chibi,
Jacky and I spent Saturday strolling along the beaches of Nielsen Park. Since it was Australia Day, it was really packed but we eventually found some quiet areas where we played around with Jacky’s camera :) The forecast for the day was scattered showers with chance of thunderstorms from midday… but the day went by without a single raindrop ^^; There were even times I complained there was too much sun XD Here’s some photos from the day:
After the beaches, we set up and flew a Dragon Kite! It didn’t stay in the air for too long (maybe about 30 seconds), since there wasn’t enough space to run, but it was still pretty fun ^^ We’re gonna leave it in the boot and take it out on a windy day :D
Later that night we drove back to the city, where we had dinner at Ippudo :D The Ramen was delicious as well as that Pork Bun in the above photo ^^ Oishii!

After dinner we walked down to Darling Harbour where there was a massive crowd gathering around for the 8.45pm fireworks!
Some spectacular display captured on my phone :) It was really cool!

Fun times! but as relaxing as it looks, it was very tiring!
Who would’ve thought we’d be able to take these nice shots at such a below average beach haha
haha yes! A lot of walking (and carrying, for you ;D) I think I got tanned from yesterday too….^^;; You can see my tan line on the 5th picture…
