  • Chinese Paladin 仙劍奇俠傳 ~love

    June 29th, 2009

    Dear Chibi,

Recently I started a new Twitter account dedicated to Chinese Paladin, mainly ’cause I’m a bit crazy about it and just wanted a place where I can share my obsession XD I’m sure the average person wouldn’t know anything about it…lol

Anyways, I thought I’d keep all Chinese Paladin related stuff on the Twitter account, but then I really wanted to share this video here on my blog, too. (lol, kinda defeated the purpose of the twitter account, aye?)

It’s the opening theme of Chinese Paladin 3 仙劍奇俠傳三 主題曲:生生世世愛~ And I love it!! I’m really really looking forward to this series.

But yesh, I might have to wait a while for the English Subtitles since my mandarin is a bit rusty at the moment- it’s a little hard to follow XD

    Browser friends :D

    Dear Chibi,

They say you can never have too many friends.. But I for one, wouldn’t mind not having IE6 as a friend XD

This is so cute I printed it out at work today and pinned it up on my wall ^-^

I need more happy geeky pics to decorate my workspace ^_^

    Not your typical mahjong day

    June 20th, 2009

    Dear Chibi,

It’s been a while since I’ve played some mahjong with some newies, so I invited a few interested friends over to learn/play/chill on the weekend =)

Shortly after their arrival and a bit of chit-chat, our hunger took over so we ordered some pizza. While waiting, we started to refresh their memory on the game and started explaining all the basics and goals. It’s not a very complicated game, since I understood it when I was about 6-7, but it still requires skills, a sprinkle of love and a touch of luck. I play it mainly for the love and excitement  I get anticipating my next draw, and of course being ambitious for some big wins.

Jacky mentored Ray while I was responsible for teaching MZ. MZ learned a few things today, like reading 1-9 in Chinese characters! woohhhooo! lol Next time he’s gonna learn to say all the characters in Cantonese, and learn the “random” tiles ^^

After a little practice, MZ and Ray both learned to say “Serng” and “Pong!” Except Ray kept saying “Sec”(win) when he wanted to “Serng”- Ray, that scares me =p

    Dear Chibi,

I finally got my new phone today after 2 months of over-dueness :D

    sonyericsson705

Isn’t it pretty? I asked if there were more colour choices and they said they only had silver.. then I found this online:

    3phones

awww..I want that pretty red one >.<!

Oh wells, I guess silver it is! I’m currently warming up to it :) Loving it so far… *changes theme to red*
I had to give up my previous mobile number too..which was a bit of a shame since I quite liked it, and it’s a big hassle getting everyone to update it. All my 500 business cards have the wrong number too now, lol

hmmm… I shall go customize it now *runs off* wheeee..

    wheeeee-ness.

    June 13th, 2009

Actually, I just ran out of title ideas. XD

    Dear Chibi,

Yesterday I did an Advanced Adobe Illustrator Course..and I was the only student! Is that awesome or what? lol
I was pretty tired and brain-drained by the end of it. 7 hours in a row on one program was a bit much, but it was good. I feel like I haven’t used my head in such a long time XD It reminds me of why I was so stressed during my schooling years, *gasp* I had to USE MY BRAINS. ahaha.. Surely people know what I’m talking about?

It was a useful course as it forced me to really sit down and TRY learning it. I did learn some stuff :D Now I know how to draw shapes and transform them! WOOT!
I was going to draw something to put up here to show, but yea ^^; Maybe when I’m better.

And that is all the courses planned for this year. The rest is work :D
Oh, plenty of fun coming up though.. Jacky organized a Snow Trip in August! yay I’m so excited! 6 of us will be gggoooiing :D
It’s not confirmed, but chances are I’ll be going to HK and China end of year too…wheeeee…

And to finish this entry, here’s some songs I’ve been listening to recently:

Hayami Kishimoto 岸本早未- I Miss You (2006)
Kaze yo Tsutaete (Roll’s Theme, Tasunoko vs Capcom) (2008)
Utada Hikaru 宇多田 ヒカル -Prisoner of Love (2009)
Jason Chan 陳柏宇-I Will Be Loving You (2009)

Don’t whinge that they’re all love songs :D

    Rock Climbing Adventures

    June 8th, 2009

    Dear Chibi,

I’m feeling really sore right now.. every muscle in my body aches! ahaha… Yeah, I’m sleepy too but I feel like writing this up first ^_^
Today was a blast! Jacky, Burpy, Somps and I went to St Leonards for Rock Climbing at “Climb Fit” :D Who suggested it..? Me! muahaha… weird huh, coming from someone who can’t climb and is afraid of heights ^_^;; Originally Jacky and I wanted to go to the Blue Mountains for some bush walking, but the weather forecast over at Katoomba was rain and possible thunderstorms! …XD We shall go next time!

The last and first time I went indoor rock climbing was when I was in year 6. I remember I didn’t climb very high.. maybe about 2 metres and I gave up cause my arms/legs were not long enough to reach for the next rock. lol… But even from that little experience, there was something about rock-climbing that was really enjoyable. I told myself it was a lot of fun.. and I remember that till this day :) The idea of having a go at it now was quite attractive, ehehe.

We met up around 12.30pm, got our harnesses, and ourselves ready for the climbs!
