Dear Chibi,

Michelle and her boyfriend Alex came back to Aussieland from Japan for 2 weeks, and since it’s been so long since we all ‘hung out’, we did a BBQ in her backyard :D What was different about this occasion was that Grandma was also able to join us outside (thanks to Jacky’s wheelchair!)

Earlier, Markos, Jacky and I played Guitar heroes, I was the drummer, Jacky the guitarist and Markos the Vocalist.. lol. We need to practice this a lot more! Well..Jacky probably doesn’t but we’re noobs! XD Fun fun though, ehehhee.

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday I officially turned 22. I feel 22 now, so that sounds about right! Thank you for all those Birthday wishes :)

Jacky took me out for a lovely dinner at Cockle Bay Wharf, which is also close to the Star City Casino! It seems I haven’t given up on it yet.. I wanted to use my free $10 credit (new membership $) and get additional $10 credit since it was my Birthday :) I was pleasantly surprised to also receive a voucher for a free meal at Garden Buffet- but we were both really really full then, and it went to waste since it’s only valid on the day. Still, these little things make me smile :) Oh, and the man said I looked 16, thanks :)

We end up spending the $20 credit at the pokie machine XD No thought, nor much skill- but that’s fine with us…cause, we’re not hardcore gamblers or anything like that! We were a little amused, got a bit excited when gold coins came of the machine, were a little quiet when nothing was happening.. and used the line ‘better than nothing’ when we got about 4 credit points or whatever XD In the end, we gained $11- though technically we lost $9 from the original but who cares! LOL It’s enough to buy a return ticket ^^; After experiencing my first time gambling at the Casino, I think I’m in love with this place and will be back for MORE MORE MORE!!! Nah, only joking, of course. I think it’s just silly throwing money away like that! I would never waste my own money at the Casino, it is an evol place…. (unless you get freebies XD) heheheee…

Kaz organised a yumcha @ Marigold with our High School group to celebrate our 22nd birthday! We’ve never done yumcha as a group before, and for some (Mich/Mel/Mal) it was their first time..so it was verrrry interesting… XD XD XD It seemed they were even afraid to drink the tea!! XD XD Come on guys… we wouldn’t poison you XD

It’s funny how they asked what every dish was, and we couldn’t really explain it except “fried stuff with bits of meat, prawn and stuff”. Mal is our resident veggie, so it was challenging getting her a dish that’s pure veggie as most dishes had some kind of meat or prawn in it. But! After some time, we got her a veggie “cherng fan” but then someone scared her and said they used pork oil to cook it!!! What’s pork oil?? Is there really such thing?? LOL

In the end, we got her one dish of fried rice noodles. yay. The next challenge was for them to use chopsticks… *stabbed chopsticks into spring rolls* ^^;; erm.

Dear Chibi,

Today I celebrated my 22nd Birthday with my uni buddies (5 days earlier) :) We met up around 4pm at Town Hall and enjoyed 3 hours of karaoke at K-Mix! Yay, the room looked renovated and had new couches! XD

Ah..the infamous blue and red lighting.. hmm…. XD We had some fun taking shots under them!

Today for Mother’s Day, Kaz, Markos and I took Mum to Pancakes On The Rocks for lunch :D The queue was loooonnngggg.. but surprisingly it didn’t take very long to get in ^-^

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday we celebrated Jacky’s 22nd with a fishing outing over at Watson’s Bay :D Jacky picked me up early in the morning to get things ready and we bought some yummy Asian snacks. I have never ever been fishing in my life, so I was quite excited and fascinated by the the fake plastic-looking bait XD I didn’t think we would actually catch any fish though..I dunno, I just had doubts! haha!

We picked up the group at 2pm on Albion St, drove to Watson’s Bay, lost Somps in the process, but found her in front of us, lol. Then the epic journey began…. with Emily and Jen in the end.. XD In our search for a place to settle down, we had to walk through all the rocky grounds, and man was it scaaaarryyy! Yeah.. I was pretty slow in the back, hahaa.. I just needed a few hands..

So, we found our spot.. which was facing directly at the Sun! What?!!? XD I’m not going there….After a little while, they noticed the spot didn’t have much success, with no fish nibbles left on our bait. I was secretly happy inside XD Yay, for the move to a better spot! Much more luck there :)

Dear Chibi,

Yesterday Jacky and I went to Kinokuniya to check out the Kino Zine Fair, grab a free comic for Free Comic Book Day, and to see if we can make use of the 20% off Manga Sale!

First off, I went to line up for my Free Comic ^^ To be honest, I don’t read Western comics… so I didn’t know what to get!

I asked this guy here to recommend me something and he gave me “Love and Rockets”  lol… it’s kinda weird.. XD Haven’t read it yet..^^; But hey! Freebies are awesome :)

Along with the comic, we get a sample Manga! This Manga has two sides to it, on one side there’s “Shoujo Beat” which includes the first chapter of The Gentlemen’s Alliance Cross, Full Moon O Sagashite and Love★Com

Flip the book the other way and we have “Shounen Jump” featuring Naruto, Black Cat and Bleach.
