Dear Chibi,

Tonight Jacky took me to see Christmas Lights over at Hurstville where there are some really nice Christmas light decorations set up at people’s houses. A lot of effort have been put into these, it’s amazing! So, we got off the car and started walking down the popular street (damn, forgot the name again =p) where people have won competitions for this kind of stuff! At first I saw this and thought, hmm.. quite pretty.

ahh..this one is pretty tooo!

Dear Chibi,

Today I got a new toy from my company… an A5 WACOM Intuos3!! =D

It’s so nice and new and prettyyyyyyy *_* (Though, I wonder what it’d look like in a years time…considering the one at home..err.. let’s not get there ^^:)

The Intuos 3 is really good! I used it all day and didn’t want to use the mouse anymore, hehee. The size is pretty good too.. though I have always argued the A6 one I have at home is sufficient for my drawings.. an A5 is undoubtedly superior… (I must admit, it feels better XD) I don’t think I’ll buy a new one for home though; it’s still usable and I have relied on it for everything arty so far.

Since I had some free time today, I worked on a sketch of Rinoa Heartilly, which can be found here! Might as well make use of the new toy =)

I recently played Tatsunoko VS Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes, and I gotta say I really enjoyed it! Chun Li is, of course, my favourite :3 Not a new character, but still… she’s so adorable! waahhh… the ending is soooooooooooo cute! X3

The little girl with the broom stick is also really cute ^^

15 days till Christmas

Dear Chibi,

I’m excited! It’s so soon..yet so far.. XD So, we’ve reached the l2th month of year 2008! I was about to reflect on the past year, but then I figured it’s not finished yet!! I can still do things and make it more wonderful (or less bad) than it has been. I guess I’ll leave that to a later post, if I remember, hehehe.

I wish week days would go by quicker, and the weekends would feel longer.

I wish I had more time to do all the things I want to do.

I wish I knew everything I wanted to do.

I wish I had more time to think things through.

I wish I would stop wishing for things I’m wishing.

I wish I was more organised, I guess. Yeh, that sums up all the wishes above.

Wait!! I don’t wanna waste my wish on that =)

I haven’t thought of one yet ^^;

Dear Chibi,
It was a long and hectic week of work, but now I’m all relaxed since it’s over =D Everyone in the office are in the festive mood, and about 11.30am- a group of us headed out to go shopping together XD That was exciting.

About 4.30pm, the girls changed into dresses in preparation for the Christmas Party at The Little Snail Restaurant!

We also played Secret Santa, where everyone was someone else’s Santa- and ultimately, we receive it from our CEO Santa! Santa turned girlie this year.. he dressed up like this, but of course with a shirt underneath and pants, haha… still pretty ewww… XD At 5pm we started opening our presents one by one next to Santa like little kids ^^ I got a bunch of kids art stuff XD ~crayons.. water colour paint, a little canvas, glitter stuff and gigantic big Christmas pencils, lol. How can anyone not feel like a kid again when you receive stuff like this? XD I shall make use of them one day *v*

Unlike other times when I play Secret Santa, we would probably never find out who really bought the presents, but I guess that adds more fun to it, but still leaves me rather curious. We had some light snacks, drinks and watched a slide show presentation of 2008 (I was in it under the ‘newbies’) before heading out for dinner.

Everyone was given different roles for the party, and I was part of the table decoration team, so we had to head out there a bit earlier than the rest. Around 6.20pm, we waited for the Cab we booked, but it didn’t seem to come? The traffic was really really bad, so my manager suggested we walk towards The Little Snail, and hope to grab a cab along the way… BUT WE DIDN’T!! XD We end up walking the whole wayyyy!! ahhhhh!!! XD XD XD I would never have thought I’d walk that distance, in heels. XD

And of course, I was whining through the whole walk, lol.

We got there around 7pm, like..what..5 minutes before the rest, who caught cabs at 6.50pm..LOL. Good thing we were nice and quick with the decorations and it turned out very pretty ^^ So the party began, and the first thing we played was a knock-out SMS game. Everyone would text to a number, and then you’ll receive a trivia question with 3 multiple choice. You have to send back the right answer, and get it in before the others. There’s numerous rounds.. I got up to the 7th round, before..well, I forgot to check my phone for the next question- so I got knocked out ^^;; The winner gets an ipod, and how funny.. the winner end up being the CEO of another company, who..sponsored/powered this game..HAHA!

We also played pass the parcel..and I’m glad I didn’t end up getting anything cause they’re ALL WEIRD XD XD XD Like..what am I gonna do a fake boob? XD hahaha..so silly.

Afterwards everyone went to the Casino, but I felt tired and decided to go home ^^; Everyone said 11pm was too early, hehehee… I caught a cab home from the Casino, but was a little nervous since I’ve never caught it alone at night. An advice was: Don’t sleep and talk to the driver. So I did just that, and it turned out alright, hehe.. I started telling the driver stories. XD It cost $52 all up, but it was on my company’s card so wheeeee.
The whole day turned out pretty good! =D
