Dear Chibi,
I’ve realised I haven’t blogged since September 13th, and while that doesn’t seem too long ago, I know I’ve left out a lot of blog entries I could have made over the past couple of weeks. Sometimes I really feel obligated to put down things that happened, but there’s just times when I don’t know how to put it in words. Sometimes I simply can’t be bothered to blog, other times I don’t have much time. The other day at work, I looked at the mini calendar sitting on my desk, and the quote of the day was ‘Keep a diary and one day it’ll keep you‘. *sigh* So very true.. okay, so I’ll attempt to write something..
hmm..I hear a random girl screaming outside my window…oh.. I just received a new email notification via MSN..from some viagra admin- great. *delete*
I’m listening to Raymond Lam’s album at the moment- Kaz bought it recently and was very very very happy to find it in the mail. Ah, what a fangirl she is, hehe..Lately I’ve been following the HK series ‘Moonlight Resonance‘- I was pleased with this drama actually, a lot better than other TVB series I’ve watched in a long time and much better than it’s prequel, which was supposedly also a hit. Moonlight Resonance also had a Moon Cake theme in it, perfect timing for it to be aired around Mid-Autumn festival.
Unfortunately unlike other years, I didn’t go out to join in the celebrations that were held around various locations. I think I didn’t have time. However, we would always have the yummy dinner and snacks night on Mid-Autumn Festival+ of course the moon cakes =) Jacky was also over and we played some mahjong- I can’t remember who won (*coughahahacough*), but we spent the next weekend playing more mahjong! I really like the game…there’s just so much excitement in it.. I think it’s the kind of excitement people get when gambling..err…knowing they have chances of winning. Even if you lose a round, you always have hope you can win the next! I wouldn’t play it with money though- it’s just not practical to throw your income away like that XD
This is my 10th week at my current job, and during lunch breaks I usually walk around to find a nice place to sit…thanks to annoying seagulls and pigeons, I can’t seem to find peace, lol. As I was strolling around mindlessly, I found myself inside the Museum of Contemporary Arts. There’s something about art galleries and museums…they give me the creeps =.=… I feel extremely empty. Well, literally the interior is empty, and I guess just standing in all this open space with creepy looking displays isn’t going to help. It reminded me of first yr at Uni- the first time I went into an art Gallery as part of an assessment. I had a similar feeling.. I guess it’s also because I was alone then, as I was just now during my lunch break.
Being alone is a scary feeling… I wasn’t able to stay in the exhibition for long, but when there’s nothing to do during breaks, you tend to end up finding yourself in the same places. It’s amazing how much you think/talk to yourself when you don’t have company. Everyday I’d see many many tourists, snapping pictures, looking at souvenirs (heck, I even went into Souvenir shops and probably looked like a tourist XD). I wondered how I would see Sydney, if I was a tourist…would I be very excited? What would I take pictures of/with? Would I find everything in CQ expensive? Well, I find things around here pretty expensive anyways…
There’s this Aboriginal performer who plays the digireedo everyday, and for the first 2 weeks I’d actually go watch him play. It’s really weird. I feel like a tourist sometimes.. It’s not like I’ve never seen an Aborigine, or heard their music- but I was engaged and fascinated. There’s also a lot of school kids around, some from primary and some high schoolers. What also catches my attention, are the amount of people jogging.. there’s so many people jogging around for ages- and I often wondered- don’t they have to work?? XD I was told, they’re probably rich people who won’t need to work, or retired, or work in different shifts. Still..there’s so many!!
The other day I came out from the office to watch the Olympics parade- I couldn’t really recognise any of the athletics, but still exciting with all the confetti and all, lol.

I like my office location actually..you can see some interesting things by just walking out of the building! A little while ago I saw a whole line of Fire Brigades on strike XD That was pretty cool, too…I made a recording of them, but I’m sure everyone knows what Fire brigades look like. Just imagine 20 of them! ehehee….
Okay, you may be wondering what’s with the second picture… I’m as lost as you are. I was walking around during break and saw a man standing inside a glass box. Um, yeh, and that’s it. XD Any ideas??
I find some fascinating, some cool, and some weird/random things around here… I was even approached by a creepy ‘fortune teller’ a few weeks ago.. it’s probably all nonsense- but I guess we’ll see =p He said October will be my super lucky month, haha.. err.. yeh.
Phew.. at least I got all that outta my head. If you’ve managed to read through all that, well done… I’m really not sure what I’ve written makes any sense, or if it’s even interesting to anyone, but it feels good ^_^ Oh, I’m gonna finish off by saying WALL-E is so cute ^.^ Go see it if you haven’t =)

Dear Chibi,
I could say this year has been a record for me, in terms of ‘not catching the cold’ as frequent as I normally did in the past. I tend to get sick once every 3 months or so and it would usually last for several weeks. This year I got sick during February in my Japan trip, but very surprisingly I recovered in three days =) Since then it has been 6 months and although at times I thought I’d definitely get sick (you can kind of feel it coming)- I made it through Winter! But now Spring is here, and well, the record broke, ahaha. I’m down with the cold once again… but! I intend to get myself fixed up as soon as possible so hopefully all goes well =) Come on Jen, get well soooon! You’re missing out on the lovely sunshine outside.
I can’t believe it’s already September. 3 more months and 2009 will be here o_o Time seems to move pretty fast these days, I wonder if I’m letting them slip by too easily? hmm..

Dear Chibi,
This morning I went to do the Hazard Perception Test and got my green Ps =D yay. Not that I care too much about having this license, since, well.. I hardly drive ^^;; It is good to get these tests over and done with though. I wouldn’t want my Red Ps to expire and have to get another one, or pay $35 for a retake for failing XD so yay. I’m happy. There is something embarrassing though.. since I got my red Ps about a year ago, I could not say I drove over 100 hrs ._. Nor can I say, I can drive with confidence! How many times have I been on a freeway/motorway/highway? Um.. maybe once on my Red Ps……?
In fact, I’ll let you hear another sad story- I got my Dad to drive me to the RTA this morning, because I couldn’t remember how to drive there myself XD And, this RTA is only in the next Suburb to where I live, lol. I tried looking at Googlemaps and whereis.com but I didn’t know any Street Names.
And this is all coming from someone with a Green P license, lol. Yeh, I’m putting shame on Green P platers, ahahaha.
Well, if you see me on the road, remember- to avoid me =)

Dear Chibi,
This is just something random and silly, but funny nevertheless.
