Dear Chibi,
Wish coffee could accompany me.
Currently I’m finding it hard to keep awake, and it’s such a pity the cold is still with me, not allowing me to intake coffee or chocolate. I’ve got stuff to look forward to when I recover I guess.
I was just checking out Adobe Creative Suite 3, and wow.. it sounds very..exciting. I’m not too fond of their new icons though, haha.
Photoshop seems to have scraped Image Ready and has a built in animation palette. Sounds good- I wish I had that to use for my Major work (right now I’m just running back and forth in both programs to do the same thing). Smart filters sound useful too, where filters applied are placed on a new layer, which preserve the original image. This would save me time from duplicating layers every time I added a filter. Not that I do 3D, but it’s good news for 3D people to know you can even edit textures directly within Photoshop Extended and immediately see results.
I don’t really use Dreamweaver, but a ‘browser compatibility check’ sounds very useful, and can save many strands of hair from being pulled out XD Now maybe there’s hope pages can look good (and the same) on I.E and Mozilla Firefox. I’d like that a lot. (I hope no one is still using Internet Explorer as their choice of browser. If so, convert today!! Firefox is free, fast to download and more secure!)
Flash CS3 now has sophisticated video tools, you can even tween videos.. (interesting to know how that would be useful…) They also have the option to export QuickTime video. If only I had Flash CS3 I may have used this program for my major work, instead of After Effects which is a bit annoying. The interface of Flash has high resemblance to Photoshop and Illustrator, and now you even use the pentool the same way. I guess Macromedia was changed for the better.
There’s of course a whole bunch of other cool features as well as for Illustrator, but since I don’t really use Illustrator I won’t comment on it.
I have yet to find any good reason someone would use Fireworks CS3 when there’s already the magnificent Photoshop. Any ideas?
There’s a lot of emphasis and integration for mobiles, what’s with that? “ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 3: DESIGN PREMIUM: DELIVER INNOVATIVE IDEAS IN PRINT, WEB AND MOBILE DESIGN” o.o Guess it’s all about keeping up with technology and trends.
Haha anyway, enough with this talk, I sound like a complete nerd.
