    February 28th, 2007

    Dear Chibi,

On my way home on the train today, there was a girl sitting about half a metre away from me who looked really familiar. It was something about her face that caught my attention, but I couldn’t quite remember where I’ve seen her before. Most of my journey was spent staring at her, lol… yeah, my face was pretty much turned facing her direction, but I tried not to make it so obvious. After much inspecting, I’ve assumed it was her… it may have been 8 years but I think its highly likely I’m correct. Back in Year 7, she was slightly short, slightly chubby and the girl I see today was taller and slightly thinner.. but her face is similar. If she didn’t move house all this time, she would be catching this very train to go home too.

She was one of my first friends in Year 7, but due to a trivial matter, immaturity and my stubbornness, we stopped being friends and came to dislike each other. This ended when she moved schools by the end of the year. Now looking back and reflecting, I hope I won’t lose anymore friends because of such reasons.

She didn’t seem to recognize me, but that’s fine. We’ve both grown older and moved onto our own lives. I was just happy for such encounter. Small world.

    Flash 8 Easter Eggs

    February 28th, 2007

    Dear Chibi,

Call me slow (hehe), but I didn’t know there were Easter Eggs in Macromedia Flash 8 (as well as the older versions of Flash)

If you go to the help menu –> ‘About Flash Professional’, a small window pops up. If you click on the ‘dot’ on the letter i in “macromedia” you get 6 games to choose from to play ^.^ I thought that was rather amusing. It may take a few clicks before you get the exact dot. The other easter egg can be found by clicking in the middle of the number “8″. A slideshow pops up showing photos of the people who developed the Flash 8 program. Isn’t that neat? =p

    arranged marriage

    February 25th, 2007

    Dear Chibi,

Suddenly I’ve been arranged by my mum to get married with a 40 year old Korean guy who migrated to Australia and hopes to be a permanent resident. WHAT THE HECK?! This drove me nuts. Naturally I’d go bizarre and disagree with the whole business, but for some reason no one would listen to me. The same thing was to happen to my sis, but for some reason she didn’t mind -_-” During the day of the Wedding Ceremony, I ran away. It was sooooo scary! A lot of people were chasing after me and the faster I tried to run, the slower I seem to be traveling. Running through stairs, hiding behind walls and under desks… it was like a game of hide and seek, though my life depended on it! I became very desperate… I wanted to go home, but from my knowledge, I was far from home. I needed to run across a few blocks of school ground before I can reach the bus x_x The 40-year old Korean guy seemed to be the Principal of the school.

That’s why I’m always relieved when I wake up from this kind of nonsense! It’s really..annoying… but only seems funny when I look back at it or when I tell people XD

    Serious combat with the spotty-handed

    February 24th, 2007

    Dear Chibi,

Sadly, my condition has gone worse since last blog entry, which meant the day was spent trying to recover, and not getting very far. Been down with the fever, which caused the icepack to melt too >.>” The tissue box is almost empty due to obvious reasons. Thank goodness I don’t have to go out today, I’d rather stay at home. It would have been terrible if I had to go to Uni today… where will I get that many tissues? XD

When in such a condition, Chibi decides there’s not much to do except watch something for entertainment. I finished Shen Diao Xia Lu (Return of Condor Heroes 06) the other night, and I must say I was rather pleased with this production and enjoyed it very much. The only thing that bugs me is that a duration of 16 years has passed, yet why doesn’t ANYONE age one bit, except for the main character guy, who grew a bit too much?? Seriously, everyone looks the same and he’s suppose to look around 30, but already has white hair..looking like late 40s/50s..errr.. oh wells, he still looks hot XD

Today I started watching Fate Stay Night, currently up to episode 5 and it’s alright so far. It has some interesting ideas which I’m curious to see where it leads. Lemme go find a pic and plug it in here..

    hehe..Saber, stolen from Jacky’s site ^.^

    SMASH

    February 24th, 2007

I was asked to spread the word, so here it is:

“Please go to this posting about SMASH (Sydney Manga and Anime Show) if you are a Anime fan in Australia (especially Sydney), and can’t accept Animania for its unbelievable entry price or artist fees anymore.

The convention’s aim is to turn out an which everyone can afford, hopefully improving the condition of the Anime/Manga society in Sydney.”

    noooo..she’s coming!

    February 22nd, 2007

    Dear Chibi,

Chibi’s eternal enemy is approaching again. You know… those bad guys that sorta get beaten, run away and then turn up in the next couple of episodes and repeats? This time the spotty-handed villainess has attacked my throat, making my eyes watery, nose runny, bone aching and I’m left here hopelessly blogging with a tissue box next door. *sniff*

Onto a more serious note… I can’t …think of anything more serious than this… XD Sorry, it’s part of her scheme too..she wants attention, argh.

I think… @_@ woah I’m getting dizzy, I think I’ll just not end this blog entry and err..yeh………………….

    I’ve got Menteeeeess…wheeee..

    February 21st, 2007

    Dear Chibi,

Nope, Mentees are not lollies like Mentos or Minities ^^ They are rather tasty though, lol..(kidding). While some of my friends have gone on a Road Trip, I stayed to become a Mentor to some of the new comers to COFA and assisted groups of students on a Campus Tour during O-week. Walking around COFA on o-”week” really gave me memories of when I was a first year student, except now I’m one of those in a pink shirt like the rest of the crew. After clarifying with Katie about 10 times, I still missed the Kudos gallery, lol. I must admit, that was a little embarrassing seeing we stopped at the door, and upon seeing a sign that didn’t say “Kudos Gallery” thought I was at the wrong place. We kept walking until I knew something was wrong. haha. An older lady walked by and told us it was a few metres back, lol..I’m hopeless. My tour group were not-surprisingly engaging (since I’d like to think I’m an interesting person) and enthusiastic! Still a little embarrassing nevertheless. I started taking them around the campus, until the next stop was the Ivan Gallery… I made them all cross the road, and said “it’s just on the other side”..so we all crossed, starting heading forward until a guy pointed out “Isn’t the gallery over there?” pointing back to the other side of the road (Owned! XD) That really gave a good laugh. I just told them “There were no cars before so we crossed the road. Now there’s also no cars, so we’ll cross the road again” (yeh, sure =p) The rest ran pretty smoothly and I managed to get one tour done in about 50 minutes. After that, I was pretty exhausted and was suppose to take another tour around later that day.. Must have been my lack of exercise this break, I was pretty tired and decided I’d leave the next tour (with 5 students) to Penelope.

Today I had to come back to COFA to officially meet my mentees I’ll be mentoring for the next couple of weeks. I have 1 Master of Arts Student, 1 Fine Arts, 1 Design and 1 Art Education student (1 guy, 3 ladies- two older than me). We got along pretty well so it should be a lot of fun =) After the free lunch, Ray, MZ and I headed over to the Kensington Campus to check it out. I again joined some clubs even though I told myself it was a waste of money the previous years XD

Next week is back to Uni, I’m not really ready for it, but I think this Uni break has been long enough. All good (and bad) things come to an end eventually =)

    the little things in life

    February 19th, 2007

    Dear Chibi,

ZETTAI KARESHI VOL 3!!!!! <3 I’m so happy it’s finally out- read it all in one go and now I’m left feeling a little sad it’s over. hehe..will have to wait several months before the next one comes out. I wonder which manga I’ll collect after I finish this one. I guess I’ll decide when I actually finish getting this! It takes really long for shoujobeat to have it published. 3 down and 3 to go!

Right now I’m feeling a little full after drinking a large cup of Iced Coffee; sweet while it lasted though. I noticed something while I was in the City today, how come FREEDOM logo changed? ^^; Perhaps it wanted a new image for their business, but the old one worked quite well anyway. I’ll stop my analysis and not go questioning why it turned into sans serif, haha.

On a different note, I’m positive I’m allergic to something. There are simply random moments when I feel I’m suffocating, cant breathe- other times I keep sneezing continuously. Right now, I felt the same as I did for a split second as this morning.. choking on something (when there’s nothing)

Don’t mind the strangeness if I suddenly tell you I’m choking (when I’m not eating/drinking)
