    September 30th, 2006

    Dear Chibi,
Animania turned out pretty good this year compared to the previous year, however there was lacking Final Fantasy cosplays which was a bit disappointing.

Here’s some pics of my Rinoa Heartilly cosplay; this is a working-in-progress mini site dedicated to our first cosplay group “Lock Heartilly“; ‘Lock’ comes from Tifa Lockhart and Rinoa Heartilly.

So far I’ve only got my section up, I’ll try and get Kaz’s page up ASAP, please be patient ^^

Thanks to those guys for coming along =D Hope you had fun today.

    Costume complete..?

    September 28th, 2006

    Dear Chibi,

*stretch* I’ve worked hours on the cutting and stitching and it’s done!! yay! I’m so tired now..but I’m so satisfied ^^ Peggy came over and was giving kazzy a two hands today, hehe…her costume is looking quite good too, though not quite finished yet, and it’s almost 12am! I’m guessing tomorrow Bondi Junction it is… for me x_x

Only two days til Animania..I wonder how things will turn out?

A break should be broken in half, right?

    September 27th, 2006

    Dear Chibi,
There’s a lot I want and need to do in this tiny break, but it’s not coming out too balanced. I shall work harder to get some stuff started.. err, done. I am enjoying it though, which is ironic cause I’m not suppose to, lol.

On another note, Animania is coming up in 3 days, and most of my costume is complete =) I’m left with some..sewing (haven’t quite figured how to do that part yet), and I need to buy something which sounds really easy, but it always happens- once you actually want to find it, it’s never there.

Ah, this week is ending so quick… I also need to spend a Thursday (wait..that’s tomorrow o.o) with a distant relo from overseas.. and take him somewhere!! He’s not easily amused… and you know, Sydney…LOL…what’s there?! XD There really isn’t much tourist attractions…around.. he has already been to Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Sydney Tower, Star City, Darling Habour and even to Canberra to see the tulips.. now, I was talking to Somps last night and she was suggesting Taronga Zoo, Aquarium, or Bondi Beach.

    I DON’T WANNA! XD

    learning the hard way

    September 25th, 2006

    The process…
    obstacles, mistakes, trial and error.

    The outcome;
    excitment, relief, sadness.

    Reflection;
    regret? mixed feelings.

    Mid semester break time

    September 22nd, 2006

    Dear Chibi,
Today was the last day before the Mid-semester break officially starts and so there was an organisation (somewhat) to have a ‘snack’ sometime in the evening (with Uni friends)… After my 11am lecture I headed over to Kensington and met up with Brian who kept me company for about 2.5 hours. We went around exploring the campus and had a free BBQ Lunch and drink offered by the Anime Club. While walking on campus, I was discovered by Leo, then Sharyin, then Tulip, then Farihar (AFTER 9 YEARS!!), Vivan, and finally Melody ^_^ Funny how all of them spotted me instead of the other way around.., well, I bet they thought I was Kaz!! XD When Brian saw me, he was like “Hey…are you sure you’re Jennifer? You look like Kerry!” ^^;; okay… When I saw Farihar, she told me I looked totally different to my sis…Nevertheless it was great fun bumping into people, lol..Brian kept saying “How come everyone knows you??”

Afterwards I attended to Anime Otaku Forum called “Super Happy Sexy AnimeUNSW Power Puff Girls Club! Girl Power ^_^V!” lol.. that was pretty awesome, met a whole bunch of really friendly people and it was great throwing in our thoughts and opinion :) (despite being called a Girls Club, guys gave up their manlihood to join, us, lol) It was such a pity I had to leave early though to catch the shuttle bus back to COFA (..it was just getting more interesting too)

It was about 3-ish when I got back to the others, met up in the Common Room only to find out that the plan has changed due to err.. a mistake. I end up playing Table Tennis for a while while people were trying to figure out where to go for Dinner. We end up walking (quite a distance) to a Thai Restaurant in Surry Hills called …. *blank* my gosh, I can’t even remember it and it was 3 letters long…errhhm….mm… and the food was quite nice, nice atmosphere.
Overall it was a good day, just that something feels missing..

    gluttonous

    September 21st, 2006

    Dear Chibi,

I’ve been analysing my eating habits, particularly for the passed week, and it’s a bit scary…lol… I’m eating way more than necessary and getting pretty full after every meal..ok, too full. What’s with this? I mean, I always liked eating I guess, but this desire to eat has increased~!  It’s not like the food has suddenly become more tasty.. I just seem to want to keep eating, and the heat makes me want to drink a lot of liquid, which adds more to the ‘fullness’. I need to know when to stop, or else..ya know.

At times when I should be eating a lot (i.e Buffet) I hardly eat anything, what a waste! such, evilness…

Arnold teaches how to walk on stilts

    September 19th, 2006

    Dear Chibi,
I had a realllllly weird dream last night!! In my dream, I was walking along a street and happen to go pass Arnold Schwarzenegger’s house! XD He was like “Do you know who I am?” (which a scary face) and the next moment he was teaching me how to walk on stilts!! Then he made me cross the road with stilts on while cars were driving pass, lol! Talk about strange and RANDOM dreams…… why Arnold? The only thing I can think of was in a lecture sometime last week, the lecture showed a promotional image of the Terminator… and yeh, that got into my dream a week later! hahahaa…..

    Improvement

    September 18th, 2006

    Dear Chibi,
You know that feeling you have when you know you’ve improved? It’s so good. Yesterday I thought I’d experiment and try ‘painting’, since it’s something I’ve never tried before and I think it can look quite good… While I was painting (yes, still with a mouse), I found myself quite surprised its looking better than I expected. After about a day of mouse work, my hand and wrist just ached…oww…done come, rsi >_<

Apart from the all mouse-clicking, it was quite fun… This artwork is a fanart of Ling Er, a character from a Chinese Drama (the same one Burpy and Somps drew in their challenge) I’ll add it to the Photo Album so you can check it out. All I can say is.. don’t be afraid to try out something new, you may surprise yourself :)
