Dear Chibi,

Today I bumped into Soojin this morning at my station which was a pleasant surprise so we had a conversation during our train ride to Uni. Day started off well with a lovely weather, nice sunshine and happened to come across Somps reading the reader in her sunnies outside. Today’s lecture of Lang. Images and Symbols was very good ( It was about failures of communication). The lecturer is interesting, the subject is interesting, and I can’t ask for more ^^
BUT!

What was to come next was like a complete opposite to this lovely lecture… we had our tutorial next for the same subject, and to be blunt- it was crap. The tutor doesn’t know what he’s doing, he wastes a lot of time, constantly walking around, looks and sounds boring, seems to be going in circles… best thing he did was let us off 30 minutes early >.>”  *cough* need I say more? Thanks goodness I have the others with me…or it would be totally annoying…lol…

Headed back to COFA via Shuttle bus, and I had a bit of time to spare so I sat in the Common Room and read more of the Lang. reader…it’s so amusing!! lol… well, at least the chapter I was looking at..

Multimedia lecture was a bit..boring.. mainly because I’ve already seen some of the stuff that was presented last semester… but I still try my best to pay attention, but damn… I actually fell asleep for one minute!! Suddenly woke up and I was totally shocked O___O It’s not nice to fall asleep in lectures… v.v” I was tired…yes..

Anyways, I need to go prepare for work, talk to you later!

Funny thing about Rain, I really liked her in ‘Lofty Waters Verdant Bow‘, since she was really cute and wanted her to end up with Raymond, but her acting skills were poor -.-… the more it got towards the end, the more it seemed like she didn’t really like him that much…because she can’t seem to convey the right emotional expressions (heck, her crying was dubbed..) If only her acting skills were better.

Dear Chibi,

300mb left for 2 days, how will I survive? I can’t believe how it worked in the old days when we had 300mb/per month plan on dial up..

Anyways, my point is I can’t really do much on the net (or don’t want to since being capped ain’t cool) so here I am typing in my blog, since loading text doesn’t take up much! I really should decorate this blog a bit, since there’s no actual image on it anywhere, but I sort of like it how it’s so..clean and tidy. The problem with MSN Space was that it looked overdone, too many colours and patterns for my liking.

I have a lot of random thoughts in my head at the moment, bits and pieces of everything, and in the back of my head somewhere I’m worried about Uni work. I have a feeling I’m forgeting something important. I guess it’s a normal thing since Uni has started.. I still need some time to settle in the classes.

Dear Chibi,
Today was relaxing since there’s no Uni for me and Markos decided we should go out and eat something for lunch since there was nothing to eat at home. He was telling me how big the bowls were at Wokking, and said he’ll shout me since its very yummy. Yesh, it was in fact quite delicious! Funny though, he was like O_O when he saw that I actually finished the large bowl..(and I ate faster than he did) XD yesh..he was very surprised I was able to eat so much! lol, maybe we don’t go out together and eat that often.

Speaking of eating… it’s weird since normally when I hang out with friends and go eat, I don’t eat very much, and a lot of the times I actually eat a lot..when no one is around..lol No one really believes me when I tell them I can eat a lot.

I need to do this every week…?

Dear Chibi,
Today I had Adv. Multimedia Authoring tutorial only to find out most of the ‘older’ people I mentioned yesterday were postgraduates..wow…some are so smart its scary. I enjoyed todays lesson, we did some revision on conditions, targets and variables; scripting for Flash. I’m excited about it…hehehe, also- Aaron and Jacky joined me in MA2, yay- got more company.

After that, we had a very…in my opinion boring lecture for Screen Culture Digital Video 2.. yes…I had to constantly remind myself this is Video- but you see, the lecturer made the lesson sound like it was a DigiComp class, then a CTC one… and the way he talks about things reminded me of Mapping the Postmodern O_O! Hope the following weeks will be more interesting.

THEN, came the long 3 hour break.. everyone went home after the lecture, and poor Chibi had a Screen Culture tutorial 3 hours later…all alone! I wondered what to do for the next 3 hours, but firstly grabbed some pasta to make my stomach a little more happy. It occurred to me I have a travel pass, so I caught a bus to Central, called up Kazzy who finished Uni for the day and we met up to have icecream =) Yummy…. After that we went around shopping until it was almost time to get back to Uni; and what do you know? The bus was late again, GAH.. got to class 5 minutes late >.< That wasn't the bad part...but the fact I travelled all the way back to COFA, to have a 10 minute "lesson". >.> The tutor said we haven’t had our lecture for the week yet, and she can’t proceed with a lesson without us being to the lecture which takes place after the tutorial… furthermore… of all students, I recognise 1 face…ONE… O_O The rest are postgraduates as well….oh my.. this is going to be tough!

I wonder what to do every Tuesday..during the 3 hour break…. 

Cloudy, rainy without much sunshine

That was the description of the weather; my first day of semester wasn’t that bad :P hehe..
This semester will be a little different since I’m starting my Gen Eds, and elective. Anyway, these are my subjects for this sem:

Screen Culture (Theory)- Core
Digital Video 2- Core
Advanced Multimedia Authoring- elective
Language, Images and Symbols- Gen Ed over at main campus
Digital Illustration for Concept Art- Online Gen Ed course

Today Kazzy accompanied me over to Kenso in search of my lecture room which was in fact like a high school classroom..lol…looks so funny with the chalk board and all. Anyways, this class seemed very similiar to Language of Digital Media; a core I did in first year, but still should be good since Phil (the lecturer) is quite good. After an hour of introduction and going through the course outlines, Somps, Marcus and Burpy went home while I travelled on the Shuttle Bus back to COFA; (no tutorials today)

I just hope I don’t miss the shuttle bus…

I have Adv. Multimedia Authoring lecture today, and to my surprise it was Monica again..!!!! I just..wasn’t expecting to see her…..lol….oh boy….I think I wrote something unpleasant in my log book last sem about her ^^;; *cough*

Anyways, the class had 15 Students…. that’s TINY.. sorta realised there’s only one class as well.. see a few familiar faces, but I don’t really know them, and there’s quite a lot of new faces, who are A LOT older than us. Nevertheless, I mainly hanged around with Rachel (non-asian one), which was good…we’re not alone! lol I can sense that this semester will be one productiv,e hardworking one~! (at least that’s what I hope for anyway)
Okies, better stop talking and prepare for tutoring..
Hope tomorrow turns out well….Tuesday is my worse day of Uni it seems…

Dear Chibi,
Just came back from a wonderful evening in celebration of Raymond’s 19th Birthday ^^ After much organisation, the evening turned out pretty successful; and K with Somps, Jacky, and Ray was so much fun! 3 hours of hardcore Karaoke….lol Actually I started off pretty bad, the tune/tone just didn’t come out right for the first couple of songs.. *sweatdrop* thank goodness it was okay afterwards…lol As usual, Somps, Jacky and Ray were great..such enthusiasm! hehee… fun fun. We met up with the others afterwards around 7.30pm (whom all sorta backed-out on K the last minute…my poor efforts wasted v.v) and we headed to Genghis Khan for dinner- a nice Mongolian place =) (City lights in the night are soooo pretty XD…) anyways, I liked the whole experience, if only I could eat more since it was a ‘all you can eat’ sorta thing. After eating around 9-ish Ray opened his present we gave him, and I’m glad he liked it~! Somps chose it on our behalf: a nice shirt and blazer =) We continued chatting til 10pm, and realised it was closing so we kicked ourself out..hehe..

 Overall, a great time, apart from the horrid train trackwork…but yesh…

Beginning of UNI SEM 2 TOMORROW..I should sleep now..

Last night I was extremely tired so I hopped in bed at 12am, which is considered quite early compared to my usual 3ams for the past few days. I think I fell asleep instantly; and the dream I had was very very long… but one part really scared me. I woke up not long after a old lady was biting my arm O_O! It REALLY hurt…hurt so much I was just screaming and screaming…can you get injured in your dream? Yes…Does it hurt? YES!! Be careful! I use to think you couldn’t really feel pain in dreams…many years back I had a dream I was shot…it hurt, but not as much as this lady who was biting my arm ; Boy was she a stubborn one..just won’t get go of my arm >.<

I woke up quite freaked out..thank goodness that was over..
