    January 29th, 2006

    Happy Chinese Year everyone!!

Sun Nin Fai Lok, Gong hei fat choi! Sun Tai Geen Hong, Hok Zap Zun Bo~ Sum Sern Si Seng!
(Jen’s crappy Translation in English: Wish you a Happy New Year, Good Wealth, Good Health, Improvement in Studies~ wishes coming true)

I’m gonna talk about yesterday (New Years Eve) since I only arrived home this morning and haven’t had the chance to blog yesterday…

Firstly, had an awesome, delicious, really yummy ‘Dinner‘ with Family; all dishes being cooked by Mum (*drools*)~ had Sally and Steven come along too. Why dinner with the inverted commas? Well.. we made that meal dinner, despite being lunch because my dad and bro gotta work later in the evening and yeh.. we need a whole family meal ^_^; Its a tradition. Anyhows, later in the evening, Jessie invited Kaz and I along with her friends for a Chinese New Year Celebration~

    We met up with Jessie and Arthur at UNSW Kensington and walked to the Movies at Randwick to watch ‘Keeping Mum’ from 7pm til 9pm; The movie was alright, but yeh… not my type. We didn’t know what it was rated, or even the genre…lol… She thought it was comedy judging from the promotional image- it still turned out funny, but yeah ^^;

After that, we headed to Coogee Beach and there I met Brian, Chanele, Jo Jo, Glenn and ZiYi~ who were all pretty cool and funny. We all brought heaps of junk food along and had a blast…lol… We started playing games like “Killer” which turned out quite addictive and funny..Ahh..the breeze was lovely, and we headed down towards the sand and located our stuff there. At around 11.30pm we were preparing for our “Fireworks” ^^ lol… That was waaayyyyy pretty. It looked as nice as fireworks to me anyway..hehehee… We made it so that at 12am we could all make our Chinese New Year’s Eve Wish. The stars were pretty too, and the waves were nice despite in the dark. After all the mucking around we again played more games and continued eating all the way til 1.30am.

Jessie said Kaz and I could sleep over at her place since it was late (yes it was) XD Time to say our Good Byes and we all left in our own directions :) End up getting to sleep around 2.30am and getting up around 7 so we still had some sleep.

The evening was quite memorable and fun ^^ Got home around 10am and received Red Packets from Parents ..teehee…yay XD

Busy to Blog… everything that has been happening.

    January 15th, 2006

Yup… you’ve all probably seen my MSN name for the past few days.. ‘chibi is busy doing her stuff’ Been awfully busy these days I haven’t had a chance to blog. Most of the time have been spent working at da place which takes up most of the day (considering I’ve been waking up at 11am, sleeping around 2.30am) Apart from that, I’ve been needing to prepare material for my Eco Class, attend Teachers Meeting and write reports. Now I also have a new student for private tutoring; which will again require a bit of time to prepare for it.In addition, I’ve been working on my new project; Fairy and Swordsman, a fanlisting/fansite for the relationship between Li Xiao Yao and Zhao Ling’Er, the characters from Chinese Game and TV Series “Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan” (Chinese Paladin). It’s going very well so far, the layout has been created and I’m in the process of adding content (most of it is finished) *phew* I’ve spent hours working on the graphics in Photoshop (yes, I’ve been refining my PS skills too), also been screen capturing all my images- yes; all the content in the site has been created myself, visual and written. I’d love to put up the url of the site to show you guys, but unfortunately it has yet to be put online. Hopefully it’ll be up, working and ready for you all to see soon :) I’ll let you guys know here when that’s up.

On another note; I haven’t been feeling too well these days- my left eye has been infected by something, and been irritating me (it..hurts..) It’s been red and watery for a few days now and eye drops just don’t seem to work… Gotta find time to see the doctors >.<

Oh yesh, onto something else; I’ve officially quit my job at Parklea; you’ve all heard me rant about that place ever since I’ve started working there… it’s about time I left that place- hmm… can’t believe I’ve worked there for a full year. Nevertheless, I feel great about that :D

    Burwood catch-up

    January 6th, 2006

Another day out with Uni buddies, but once again… I turned up late >< Gomensai!!!! So sorrie guys!!! It's SERIOUSLY the train... I won't be late next time! Today we were hanging at Burwood, and watched The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe :) It ran for about 2 and a half hours, but I enjoyed it. I've watched the older version of it, and liked that- so this was better. I think it was worth watching, and the characters here are a lot more rounder.. (i.e- they have more of a personality) and the special effects was a plus. There were very slight changes in terms of storyline, so it was very faithful to the book, as well as the previous version (is it suppose to? o.o).Anyhows, we met up with Ray and spent the rest of the day hanging around, eating and simply catching up~ which was somewhat pleasant.

I would type more.... but something just struck me...O_O I have Student reports to write due tomorrow....I've completely forgotten about them until Rosemary asked me about them O_____O ahh..Chibi is so bad >< Better go type them up now O_O.... Student reports are quite tough, esp when there's about 20 students.

    I’m back!

    January 3rd, 2006

After a 9 hour plane ride with a sore back and lack of sleep, I’m back home ^____^ yaynesss…It’s great to be back, though the trip itself was awesome! Totally awesome that I won’t bother blogging what I did in my whole month overseas, since I did too much and I’m sorta exhausted after all the unpacking ^^;; (ok ,ok..I’m lazy…..leave me alone =P) ..On another note… boy it’s hot here O_oSo much catching up needed…my files on the computer aren’t even familiar to me anymore.. I’m so lost XD Been too long since I’ve been at home..lol..

Ah yes, I received a lovely x-mas card from the wonderful Digilee all the way from Canada in the mail..yay! My first tangible Xmas Card this yr. To tell ya the truth, I didn’t expect any this yr- being overseas and all… but still got one! YAY~ how sweet XD Ah yes, I wanna thank all those cool people who sent me E-cards for Xmas and New Year! It’s nice to know some people care enough to send them ^.^ How thoughtful.

Oh yes, tomorrow I’m gonna start teaching again and I’m soooo excited to meet my new Eco class ^^; Can’t believe I’ve already taught for a yr O_O 2006 tis here!

    Catch ya laters!
