Hello, good thing typing in this blog doesn’t require speaking.. >< This is my third day of being sick with the cold. Surpingly enough, I felt a lot better since last night… Tuesday was HORRIBLE (which I spent sleeping the whole day), Wednesday was a little better but still generally felt dizzy, headahce, muscle aches, running nose and coughing… today, my throat kills…! I tried to speak too much today, and now it really hurts and my voice is running out.

After Sound class, I met up with Blox and he bought me 2 figurines!!! My goodness!! I can’t even believe it myself… Figures of Inuyasha and Kagome (with Shippo) He’s not getting away THAT easily.. gotta come up with some scheme to do something back for him. We had lunch together for about an hour, where I was raising my voice to speak above the noise from the crowd. My voice was very croaky; I think I’ve lost it completely when teaching in the arvo. The class is good… but the lessons do involve a lot of explaning, and I do need to raise my voice to keep the class more quiet..thus the result= no more voice.

Now I’m at home, feeling the headache coming back… I gotta work on my Mapping the Postmodern Essay soon..
Oh yes, just wanted to note it’s also Monica’s Birthday today.. a pity I couldnt attend her Birthday Dinner, since I had work. Hope she has fun!

I must say, a few random things happened today…. First of all, I got a shock in the morning when I was being driven to work. I happened to see (out of all people) Mr Vartha driving in the car next door in the freeway! (Aside note: In case you don’t know who he is.. he was my Year 11 Multimedia teacher.. I feel very..umm..ashamed when I see him since I dropped it at the beginning on Year 12! Since then, I felt the need to hide XD I couldn’t face him..LOL…)

I wasn’t so sure at first, but after driving pass him a few times… I KNEW it was him. So embarrassing, he saw me too and gave me a weird facial expression, as to say “That JEN?” I was sorta laughing at the same time, and then sorta turning around so he couldn’t see it was me.. but yeh, that plan failed. ehem… but yeh.. that’s randomness number 1!

Randomness number 2. A customer at work- We had communication problems, and sadly, it was during the most BUSY hour of the day… I could see my boss waving her arms around like mad, as to say “JENNY! Hurry up and take the order!! Other customers ARE WAITING!” Yes, I was trying to take the order, but she kept changing her mind. The random thing was.. she was speaking in MANDARIN! Here she was asking me all these questions about what’s in the Tom Yum, The Noodle Soups, the Laksas… and I was trying really hard to understand what she was even asking! XD Jen has no mandarin!!!! I kept replying in English to clarify “You mean the beef noodles?” “You mean does it have Tofu?” “Yes, that’s all we have.. is that what you’re asking??” And yes… after all that drama, Jen actually got it right!~ muahahahaaa… YAY~ I made the correct order and delivered it to the right stall as well! OMG, a bonus! I asked for her stall number, and she said in Mandarin something like “How long have you been working here? Don’t you even know my stall?” I wanted to say: ‘Mam, there are so many stalls here (in the Markets), and you’re not the only one who I deliver stuff to. So it’s MY fault that I can’t remember which stall you own, and yet, it’s okay for YOU to forget your OWN stall address?’

Onto randomness number 3 O_O
A customer ordered a lot of food and I was trying to remember them all… Just at that critical point of trying to memorise all the food, I needed to add up the price. Out of all times.. the CALCULATOR DIED. I almost had a heart-attack! You all know how crappy my maths is (laughs). I started adding in my head as quickly as possible and it WASN’T EASY! I finally came up with a sum! AHA! So, I told him the price in confidence (in reality, I’m just crossing my fingers a miracle had happened) but then.. I sorta forgot I need to give change! (My subtraction skills is less superior to addition) lol.

I actually got it all worked out pretty quick, added it correctly and all…phew… *wipes sweat away* OMG! I know MATHS!!! XD

The next second I saw the calculator.. it was back..to..normal… >.> *falls tothe ground*
